Meeting a person to date today is very hard since most people have to work from “can to can’t” to make ends meet. However, you really need to take out time for yourself and enjoy a nice dinner with a wonderful person and see how much better you will feel. 1. Barbeques – Everybody loves a good barbeque, but everybody gets tired of the same ole’ crowd. One suggestion is to request each guest to bring a new person with them to the BBQ that no one knows. This way you can meet new people and enjoy hanging out with old friends as well.
2. Clubbing (Not Bars) – We mean like golf courses. What person does not know where a golf course is located? If you are a woman, this is a great place to meet a well-educated person and you will have at least a 50/50 chance that he is single or is playing golf with someone who is single. What is fun is that when you do not know how to putt or hold the club, you can generally find a guy to show you the ropes. After the game, offer him a drink or coffee for showing you how to play.
3. If you are a guy, tennis courts are a great place to meet a young lady the tender age of 40. Women love to play this game with friends and sometimes will pair up with guys to play a more challenging game. However, do not forget the jogging course. Men and women love to keep fit and what better place to meet new people than at a park? It’s free, out in public, and plenty of places to just sit and talk.
4. Do you have a friend that works at a company that has company picnics? Ask if you can tag along. Unless it is strictly company employees, they will not mind bringing you with them. Your friend can introduce you to their friends and so on and so forth. Many people bring friends along to have someone to hang out with.
5. A less interesting place to meet and greet singles is at conferences. However, conferences can be fun because after the meetings are over many will get together for dinner and chat it up and some will go out for drinks to relax.
